About the magazine
Bellydance Oasis Magazine is a quarterly magazine which specialises in all things related to Middle Eastern Dance, often referred to as 'bellydance'. We cover everything from the many dance styles within MED, to costuming, music, interviews with prominent dancers and cultural issues.
We're Australia's only magazine dedicated to Middle Eastern Dance and we have a great team of regular writers, researchers and interviewers who are committed to striving for excellence and producing interesting, informative articles. Alma Sarhan heads this dynamic team of editor, Ayesha and senior writer, Kerry Stewart. Our Tribal Corner is produced by Devi Mamak, Australia's foremost authority on tribal style. Regular contributors include Belyssa, Rose and Shemiran, and we invite guest writers from different fields to contribute their talents to this varied and informative publication.
